| Review: | Ignorance and Deception is the name of their game I purchased an Accident Policy with Markel as a back up to my primary coverage. I wound up getting injured over a time frame when I was changing primary insurance so I could not get it covered with either of them. No problem I had my back up insurance right? Wrong! I will spare the details but basically I spend 7 months getting the claim processed. During this time their claims department would state they never received any information for 4 months. At that point I got the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation involved and low and behold they came up with the information I had sent them. Now that they finally had the information we went through another 3 months of them stating they could not process the claim because they needed further information, however they would never contact me to inform me of what they needed. It was only through the OIFR inquires that I would find out what they needed. Eventually things did get paid, however I believe if I had not contacted the OIFR I would still be getting the run around from this company. |
