| Review: | A challenge for all persons belonging to Humana The facts: it has taken Humana up to 19 months to reimburse me for one claim. Humana has issued an invalid check to me. I have spent over thirty hours on the phone with Humana trying to resolve the same issues. But, don't trust me for a review, as I may be viewed as a disgruntled client with no actual facts. Anyone who is a member with Humana: I challenge you to call Humana four times within the span of a few days... or even a few hours. Choose a few questons to ask them. Such as, what is the required amount of time Humana has to respond to a question I have, or what is the time limit in which Humana must respond for a prior-authorization request, or any other number of questions. Call a few times, ask the same questions, and see if you recieve the same answers. I will be surprised if you recieve the same answers to the same questions you ask several different representatives. I forgot to mention, if you are having problems with Humana and know someone else who is having problems, persuade them to leave a quick comment here. There's much truth to the saying, "strength in numbers." Please try and get people to respond to this. It's the only small way I know of to expose Humana. THanks! jenny |
