| Review: | Good Value/ Difficult to Collect We have WellPath, which is a subsidiary of Coventry. We have a small business that provides insurance from all of our employees. This company's prices are by far the best, much less than other quotes from other companies. Being able to afford some insurance is better than having none at all. Our experience is that WellPath/Coventry will argue about ALL charges and try not to pay many of them. If you are dealing with fairly minor medical issues, this is a big headache. However, we had an employee with pre-mature twins that were each in intensive care for over two months. I'm sure the cost was in the millions. WellPath paid the bill and the rates for the following year did not go through the roof although when we tried to get quotes from other insurers, they were unaffordable because of this one unfortunate medical situation. So, in sum, getting WellPath or Coventry to pay is always a struggle, but they will pay for the big stuff when the worst happens. On the administrative and billing side, the company is easy to deal with. |
