| Review: | Good Value/ Difficult to Collect We have WellPath, which is a subsidiary of Coventry. We have a small business that provides insurance from all of our employees. This company's prices are by far the best, much less than other quotes from other companies. Being able to afford some insurance is better than having none at all. Our experience is that WellPath/Coventry will argue about ALL charges and try not to pay many of them. If you are dealing with fairly minor medical issues, this is a big headache. However, we had an employee with pre-mature twins that were each in intensive care for over two months. I'm sure the cost was in the millions. WellPath paid the bill and the rates for the following year did not go through the roof although when we tried to get quotes from other insurers, they were unaffordable because of this one unfortunate medical situation. So, in sum, getting WellPath or Coventry to pay is always a struggle, but they will pay for the big stuff when the worst happens. On the administrative and billing side, the company is easy to deal with. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Idiots and Thieves This company is horrific to deal with! I pay my health care premiums six months at a time because I get paid mostly twice a year with small commissions in the months between, so I like to have my bills paid. Twice so far in four months they have drafted my account for my monthly premium. Both times after a looooong hold and getting transferred around a billion times and calling my bank and sending a statement and pitching a full scale fit, the money was redeposited a week later! A week! Twice! I have actually used the insurance for going to the doctor once and haven't recieved that bill yet but if their bill paying incompetence is any education they'll pay the vet across the street before they'll pay my doctor. The kicker, they are not even authorized to auto draft my account. They got paid a check. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Beware My husband's company switched to Coventry to save money on the premiums. Well, ever heard of the expression of cutting off your nose to spite your face? Practically every medicine that I was almost switched to a generic...had to have doctors write letters. One was just switched and I didn't know it until I got it home and looked in the bag. No explanation except for "your insurance company prefers this"...even though I had only been on the medicine for a month. No one called to see how it's working or if it's the most appropriate medicine for my issue...just switched it. This is not managed care it's a dictatorship. Comments [ 0 ] |
