Review: Cheat and Fraud
Guys remember there are so many things in Insurance. I usually check everything, but these guys really cheated me. I had 2 biopsy's done in a doctor visit. Ispite of having an insurance which costs 125 a month I got a bill of 500 dollars, all they say is it is going to your deductible and they pay only 60 bucks.
They first said that the biopsy's were covered in my first call and after the bill they say that the biopsy is lab work and is not covered. They lied to me because I cancelled my insurance after seeing this bill. Please beware guys.

I am an agent in NH. Reading over your comments prompted this reply. I am not here to defend Celtic or anyone else; just to help educate you. No matter which company, if you have a deductible, you generally have to meet that amount out of your own pocket prior to the company paying anything. If something is "covered", that means after the deductible is met (so the company may tell you it's covered but they mean after you meet your deductible).

Some policies have doctor office copays, 1st dollar preventive care, and supplemental accident benefits which do not require a deductible to be met; but it's your job to seek those out (if you want it) and pay accordingly. $125 a month is really cheap in today's market so you have to realize, you get what you pay for, in any company. If you wanted all this covered without a deductible you should expect to pay more like $250-$300 a month in today's market. Just a fact, shop around, that's what I do for my customers every day.
Your comments can be damaging to the reputation of the company, which is in this case probably faultless, only you did not understand your policy benefits (maybe due to your agent, or if you bought direct, then your own fault for not reading the benefits thoroughly).
